The Beginning.
I never imagined, when I was young and my mums handbag was a place of unknown curiosity and older, when stockings were a sinful lust, especially if you wore them under your works trousers when working .... Ahhhhhhh!!
From this Alana would become born on Febuary 21st 2005 at Kristina's secret cottage in Wales. She then slowly came out to reveal herself to the world by attending Beaumont Society events in Harrogate and Rotherham, also continuing to dress at home for herself and her partner.
2006 seen Alana attending two weekends at the Glazebrook Hotel in Blackpool and by early March becoming a member of the Northern Concord Society in Manchester. This society allowed Alana's wings to grow and she learned to fly into the real world, with the continuing support from her friends she maintains her flight to this day.
I'm still finding new confidence, while covering new ground, with in which the new friends I've met have become old friends.
So with this in mind a special mention goes to Jenny, who has been my inspiration, chaperon and companion through out this journey. Marilyn for her consistent uplifting good humor and making things ever better, my Pauline with out none of her support at the beginning Alana would not have existed.
It is a challenge, a lovely challenge at that, and it's worth every second of shaving and make up, of shopping and dressing, of walking and talking, drinking and eating, and finally dancing and caring. It's all good stuff.
I would like to give a special mention to Chris and Karen who run the Glazebrook Hotel in Blackpool. This couple are the most friendly, accepting and accommodating people in the world and were there at the beginning of Alana's birth.
This has been a journey, not easy, extremely daunting and for ever questioning why. I know when Alana arrives I go to a special place and feel Very happy. It's all worth it just to feel this way.
My eyes are brown, my legs are long, and my hair color and look will always depend on my style of me.

Update...... July 2015
Sparkle 2015.. The weather mixed, blazing yellow daytime sun. Blues, whites, greys and black streaking clouds and a little rain, humid and hot at times.. Cool evenings and a crazy, bustling packed out girls and boys canal street..
The girls glam and doing there thing, in the bars, on canal street, in the restaurants and inside the sparkle park.
A new development for me was attending sparkle with out a girlfriend, and not to be yarning about the day returning to our respective hotel bedrooms, clutching are linked arms tightly after another day.
I must admit to being a little anxious about this, as I've always been to sparkle with a weekend friend..
But! No worries needed, I was escorted and chaperoned by my gentlemen .. I met and was made very welcome by the girls, went to Manchester shopping and spent a pot of cash. and just had a wonderful time.. Thank you all for your support and friendship .. It was a joy and pleasure to sparkle this year..
And just as a foot note I have been out and about this year.. Lff, Blackpool, Manchester .. I'll hopefully see you before the sparkle of 2016..

Another year passes, another Sparkle has come and gone .. It always has me feeling I'm on a very fast roller coaster ride and its far to quick with long queues to start, and want to stay on the ride forever. But all good things come to an end, but not an end as I know I will be out again very soon indeed... A big thank you to Alice for coming on the ride and with all its dips and highs .. and plummeting bottoms and tantalizing views, Its all about being open, starting new friendships and strengthening old ones .. Having fun, chatting, dancing, shopping and just being there ... All my very best to all I met and to any I missed ... And unlike the world cup, we only have to wait another year to next years Sparkle ... "Yippee"

It has been a year since I have entered any details about my self. I have had a relationship over that time and unfortunately it has come to a sad end.
I did go to Sparkle and had a great time with a good girl friend of mine over three fun packed days and drink fueled nights. Met some old friends, met some people with extraordinary lives and drank tea at the Richmond tea rooms with my best friends.
I look forward to next years Sparkle and chatting on TvChixs.

Well! Its very scary just to see how much time passes when you come to something like updating your diary entries.
The most recent event is my mother died in early May 2012 and we took her ashes to Ireland to rest with her mum and dad.
I have been a busy girl in this last year, still keeping in touch with good friends and going to LFF. I'm enjoying my fetish side even more and developing this side with some really good friends.
I'll be at Sparkle this July and I hope top see you there.

What a fantastic night I had at December LFF, Blaydes Bar and The New Penny ... A night to purge and restart. Dancing and good company can make it all much better.
Me and Pauline split up in the summer and I'm now living in Leeds, I've been out a few times to Lips, LFF and the bi-annual get together in Blackpool while keeping in touch and seeing good friends. I've even been to a Munch in York and I'll be pursuing this interest in December and The New Year.

Sparkle Weekend has come and gone yet again, this time last Sunday I was in Manchester City Center HMV buying cd's of Bowie and U2. It is all over before you seem to even start - It's just great to catch up with all your friends and have a good time. It was nice to spend the day with Julia and team up with Jenny and Marilyn later in the evening. It was lovely meeting Tanya and friends at Naps and Adrian, alias Annabelle for breakfast on Sunday morning.

Now it's mid June and Alana was out again, Fabby day in Manchester with Elena, girly day of clothes, make up and wigs. Evening with Mandy and Cindy in Leeds, Fed and watered - you just can't beat Pizza and a nice cup of tea, just as good when England scores, which Is't very often so that makes it ever more special.
Went out on Wednesday to Manchester, Purchased some new clothes for Sparkle weekend - and had a lovely evening with Jenny, Marilyn, Elaine and Alex.
Out in Leeds on Friday night. So it had to be LFF at Blayds Bar, it was so hot in the upstairs bar, it was empty, everybody was in the downstairs bar or out into the Yard once it stopped raining, although it was a very nice, warm rain.
Had a good night (it can never be anything else) and it was good to see everybody I know .. had a lovely chat with Julianne, it was great to see Trixie and Samantha (good luck with the new business).
Mays LFF was a good a night as Junes ... It was great to see Elaine in Leeds ... I think this was a historic moment xxxxxx

Managed a couple of nights out in Oct, went to IsisQuest - it was a bit quiet, I'll have to go back again and see what it's really like. I'm In Blackpool at the moment as as I type this and having a good time ... about to have a Chinese take away, back in to my glad rags and then out with the girls again.

Out in Leeds Again on Thursday night with Jacqui, Rachel, Cindy and Mandy for an Italian ..... Good to see Jacqui and Rachel .. It has been such along time since I've seen both of them , especially Jacqui. Finished the night in Queens Court .. into bed for 1pm.
I was in Leeds for gay pride weekend, marched down the Headrow, unbelievable experience - Up there with one of the best things ever ....

Work, Work and more work ..... That's my excuse for not being Alana, plus other things like gardening. Now if time travel is a reality I can relive all the best bits and still have time for tea. Alas we live in a restricted dimension and must abide by a collection of zany laws that govern our movements and impede on our whereabouts.
Saying that you may be wondering did she go out over this last two months .... and the answer is yes.
Leeds in June and May and she had a dam good time.

Night out in Leeds on the 25th April with our Cindy and friends ... Looking forward to that night so I can try on my newly purchased clothes and shoes from my shopping trips in Manchester and Blackpool.
The March weekend in Blackpool was great ... 24 hours of Alana in one go!!!!!!!! .... and still not enough.
A nice days shopping in Manchester with Jenny, meeting Cindy and Mandy for a brief coffee before the splurge and finishing off with pizza after the spend. .... It was worth it.

Managed a days Shopping in Leeds for the start of the year and a pricey meal at the revamped Corn Exchange, with its dome shaped glass roof and and star lit wonder, It made me wonder how time has turned me from the boy with my dad at the railway shows that used to be held there, to a girl eating an expensive meal in this same building, which is in my home town and all the intervening years that this holds.
This has been my only trip out so far but I purchased some nice things and had fun trying on some dresses with help from my other half.
Will be out 1st March in Leeds and plan to be at the Glazebrook Hotel for the Blackpool weekend from 6th March.

Went Italian at Bibis in Leeds with Pauline, Cindy, Mandy and Rachel, spent the whole night at this remarkable restaurant ...... You really do not need to go anywhere else - It's that good.
Sparkle weekend girls get together was fun and caught up with old girlfriends ... making some new ones on the way.
T-girl monthly meeting in Leeds went to for the first time at the Viaduct ... nice crowd of girls and plenty of dancing on that brilliant Viaduct step.

Italian meal in Leeds with Rachel, Michelle and Cindy C. Managed to have a Sat night out in Manchester with Jenny, Marolyn and Cindy - great night but suffered all day Sunday for my pleasure. Mid Feb - Hull With Michelle, Rachel and Joanna, Indian meal, back to digs for those glam girls to glam up even more, hit the town in a cold feb night to take some t-girl warmth in to the young Hull night club scene.

Until Feb 2007 Alana was a regular sight on the Manchester Village scene, Wed night would see her at the Hollywood Show Bar meeting her girlfriends then setting off to explore Canal Streets buzzing night life, always ending up at T-girl heaven 'Naps'
Meeting Michelle and Rachel took me out on the Streets of Hull and Sheffield and eating out for the very first time.
Met Cindy Dec 2006 who is a party Diva and just love to bits.
In Feb 2007 I became self employed and Alana's wings became clipped a little as her energy was applied to the business. I still come out as the updates show and 2009 will see more Alana out and about ..... I hope.
