Hi,
I'm Dave, (he/him) I've been dressing since I was 14 and pretty much always in secret.
I don't know why i dress but I do know I need to, it's part of who I am. I'm not into guys at all but I'm here for moral support I suppose.
I'd like to become myself in the open some day and I don't know if it will ever happen but I am becoming slowly more comfortable with who I am. I follow the Eddie Izzard 'action transvestite' as a mantra!
I am married and have kids and this is all secret, I know my wife hates it as I told her when we first got together, after a period of it eating away at her she asked me to stop doing it. Of course I said yes, I tried but I failed and I don't think she knows that I started again.
Well here we are, say hi if you wish, so far it seems most won't. I feel like the only straight TV in the world!

Update Feb 24!
New job - new me. I am out at work!
Had an amazing day wearing all male clothes for a full day meeting but also blue nail varnish and a touch of eyeliner ( to keep it subtle)
The reaction was neutral to very positive and although that is exactly what the reaction should be, I was still amazed.
I'm very proud of myself for doing it - next step is be more obvious next time i think.
